Cherrylog Pizza Oven
Stone Entertainment Area
This is an outdoor entertainment flagstone patio area with a fireplace, pizza oven, and two stone log holders.
The fireplace has a 2’ depth hearth with decorative log holders. The chimney has a rock band at the perfect mantle height, as well as a rock cap.
The fire box is 42” wide with an arc and keystone – it also includes a real fire brick interior.
Both of these projects are finished with stucco to provide texture and color.
The wood storage area under the oven also includes a rock face with a matching arch and keystone over the opening. To the side of the chimney, there is an additional dry storage made from rock for holding wood.
Pizza Oven and Wood Storage
Stone Step Walkway
The pizza oven is 4’ wide and about 5.5’ tall. The front of the oven has a 16” shelf to place pizzas on, along with a rock chimney and temperature gauge. This installation also features an arch and keystone surrounding a black metal door affixed to the pizza oven.
The steps are 2.5” thick stones that have an inch overhang, which gives them an interesting levitating effect.. There are 5 steps at 7.5’ wide, with a 6.5” riser in between each step; These steps lead to a double door into the house.
Stucco-Finished Stone Wall
All of this was an addition to the wall I made 4 years ago. Every 10’, the 5’ wall is divided up by rock columns to add depth, color, and design. On top of the first wall, there is a 5’ shelf where trees shoot up and a statue rests before the next wall begins.
The second wall inclines another 5.5’; this section does not have columns dividing it, but it does include a stone cap outline at the top. These walls taper down into a corner piece for a flawless finish.
